Born in 1971, I am Jeremie Nassif from France.
Self taught and started to work professionally as a still photographer on movie sets I had the chance to work with director like Claude Chabrol, Michael Haneke or Bartabas among others.
I did short movies, videos animation, played afro-cuban music until I shot my first personal photography collection with dancers.
In 2010 I exhibited giant photos printed on advertising tarpaulins erected around the Marché des Halles of Biarritz and my work was shown at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris.
In 2016 Galerie Sit Down hosted a show of my photos and I published a book with the Edition du Regard.
I have been minting images on various blockchains since 2022 as if I had always needed freedom nft technology brings alive.
Though I use different styles my visual signature is a mixture of flash and ambient light to obtain a live mix of blur and sharp making movement visible on a fix photo.
I call myself a body in motion photographer.
